You can tick the ocean in a box, but not a good idea. The 12-foot inflatable Sevylor is a beautiful lake, or as a tender for use in protected harbors, but the beach is dangerous. It swims, if it is not hidden, but what are your options if the engine fails and the offshore wind is blowing? You will not be able to paddle against the wind is strong enough and need to be rescued, or the preparations for a long, slow journey to France (or Tahiti).
These boats are a lot of money, but the shells are not as durable as coasters 3 to 5 times more .... Well .... Do not take the risk .... a ship at sea, nomatter what they say. Near the coast in a protected environment ... much boat for the price .... but I did not grow.
